Hall Hire


Two halls and a lounge are available for regular, casual or one-off  bookings. They do, however, become heavily booked, especially during school terms, so please check availability before organising your venue.Please include setting up and clearing away times in your booking.

Large (main) hall shown in the photos
The large hall has level access from the outside and to the kitchen and toilets. It has a serving hatch from the kitchen.
Size: 48ft x 28ft  rectangular
Up to 100 people
Small hall
The small hall has level access from the outside and to the kitchen and toilets. It has a serving hatch from the kitchen. Size 23ft x 17ft L-shaped
Up to 30 people.
The large hall is an excellent venue for private celebrations and can include the use of a well-equipped kitchen

Lounge
The lounge is on a lower level and there are stairs between the lounge and the toilets. Size: 26ft x 24ft L-shaped with its own kitchen.

Kitchen
The kitchen is well-equipped and can be used to serve hot and cold food and beverages.

Toilets

There is one unisex toilet with disability adaptations, and a separate ladies’ toilet.  The toilets have level access from the outside, the large hall, small hall, and kitchen. Access from the lounge involves stairs.

Parking

The  hall has a small car park to the rear of the building.
Payment
A non-returnable deposit of 50% on booking. Balance of payment and a refundable cash deposit of £50 against damage or dilapidations on collecting the key.
Alchohol
Although we do not allow alcohol on the premises, we would make an exception on request for one glass of wine per guest for a toast for special occasions. If you are seeking this exception, please explain when making your booking.Smoking
We seek the cooperation of hirers in upholding our No Smoking policy

Music and Dancing
The halls and lounge do not have a music and dancing licence and so may not be used for dances, discos or shows open to the general public

Gambling
The halls and lounge may not be used for gambling.

Political meetings
There are restrictions on the use of the premises for political purposes. Please contact us if you require further information.

The small print
Hirers are responsible for ensuring that the rooms they hire are suitable for their purpose and the number of people expected. The PCC is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property. We reserve the right to refuse bookings.
